October 2021. Two strangers thought the other looked cute on the dating app Hinge, a social media app designed to find relationships rather than the caliber of affection one may find on Tinder. This girl from Washington, DC had just moved to New York a month ago and made an ironclad vow to go on one date a week to find love. This other dude had lived in Brooklyn for seven years prior, and looking for love, thought the girl was really, really pretty. After hours of laughs, conversation and drinks, our love birds walk under the subway tracks of Bushwick and they share their first kiss. It comes up that the girl from the south had never had a chopped cheese, and after hearing this, the boy from upstate took the girl to her nearest bodega for her inaugural sandwich. He finally walks her to her doorstep, she says good night, and they haven't gone a day without talking since. Since then, we've had a plethora of different adventures. Traveling to Paris, filling our limbs with tattoos, moving in together, getting a dog, and now, we're here.
