How do I RSVP?
Our printed invitation that was mailed to our guests includes a link and password to our RSVP website.
Is the wedding indoor or outside?
The wedding will be a combination of inside and outside. The ceremony is going to be held outside with cocktails following inside. Dinner will be under a tent outside followed by dancing inside. Worry not brave reader, we have a contingency plan for the evening if it rains.
Do you have any nearby hotel blocks reserved?
We have a block of rooms under the name Ashner-Hyman at the Trilogy Hotel in Montgomery, AL. There are a few hotels in the area we’ve curated on our Travel page, however, Trilogy is our designated wedding guest hotel.
What is the attire for the wedding?
We are excited to celebrate in classic style with all our loved ones! Our wedding ceremony and reception are black tie optional.
What is the attire for the welcome party/rehearsal dinner?
The attire for the welcome party/rehearsal dinner is dressy casual, leaning toward cocktail attire.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited seating at the venue, if you received a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation. Otherwise, we respectfully ask you don’t bring a plus one, and thank you for your understanding.
Can I bring my kids?
Unless otherwise noted on your printed invitation, please leave the kiddos at home or let us know if you need help finding a babysitter in Montgomery.
Where can I send a wedding gift?
We are so grateful to have you in our lives! We have a wedding Registry populated with everything we could dream of to start our new life together. Please feel free to find a gift from the registry or send money through the registry towards our honeymoon/house fund! Thank you so much for thinking of us!
What time should I arrive at the wedding?
The music will begin at 4pm, so please join us then and find your seat. The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Be sure to check our Schedule page for the play-by-play of the wedding weekend.
What’s the easiest way to get to Montgomery?
There are many options to find your way to Montgomery! It’s located in central Alabama on I-85 and is in the Central time zone.
Fly directly to the Montgomery airport, MGM. It’s a small airport but very convenient. Just be sure to avoid the last flight of the day in to MGM or the last flight of the day out of MGM. They often get delayed.
Another convenient option is to fly into the Birmingham airport (BHM) which is just over an hour away from the hotel and wedding venue. You will just need to rent a car to take the short drive to Montgomery.
Or, it is often more economical to fly into Atlanta, rent a car, and drive to Montgomery which is just over a two hour trip. Keep in mind that Atlanta is eastern time and Montgomery is central time.
Where can I park for all the wedding events?
Parking at the hotel is available as street parking, valet, or deck parking.
The rehearsal dinner venue is directly across the street from the wedding hotel, Trilogy.
Parking at the wedding venue is extremely limited; we are currently investigating group transportation for our guests. Please check back for updates.
